The original name of today’s Cariñena means, "The Dear Plain" states winemaker Nacho Lázaro. Cariñena is one of the oldest regions in Spain with a hot, dry Mediterranean climate. Our four estates provide 100% of the grapes that give Bodegas Care wines their strength, personality, and character. With our roots in tradition, our wine's primitive labels, inspired by artist, Enrique Torrijos, depict the many faces that are universally identified and marketed as Care wines.
